Chassis:
Any 4 ½” commercially available chassis
No lightning of the chassis.
Aluminum pans are allowed.
1/8 or 3/32 solid steel rear axle
Any pitch straight or angle pinion
Any pitch plastic gear
3/32 or larger full length front axles
May run any height guide flag, shims, nut and approved braids.
.047 tech tool has to clear gear and rear of chassis.
Axle bushing holes may be altered in chassis to lower or raise bushings. Bushing may be soldered in.
No bearings allowed
No excessive chassis contact to the race track.
Tires:
Must run front tires, minimum size is 3/8 (.375) width x 5/8 (.625) diameter (all the way around), on aluminum or plastic wheels Maximum width outside tire to outside tire 83mm (3.268”). Minimum width apart must be greater than 2.0" from inside tire to inside tire.
Any rear tires, no minimum size, as long as minimum chassis height is maintained.
Tires may be changed but must pass tech tool height .047& width 83mm (3.268”) when changed, even during the race and approved by Race Director
Rear tire width must pass tech tool 83mm (3.268”) at all times before, during & after race.
Both front and rear tires must be mounted as intended by chassis manufacture and to resemble a real Scale car.
Body:
JK, Parma, RM Scale bodies. Any other body must be approved.
All bodies must be cut on the cut line.
Body must be mounted as intended by manufacturer. Front and rear axle must be seen in intended wheel wells. Both front and rear wheel wells must be cut out.
No heating, pinching or reforming bodies for aerodynamic purposes.
The Slot Car World Championships are September 30 - October 13 in Italy this year, so our hours will be limited those and surrounding weeks
